Diabolo, Kongzhu(Chinese yo-yo) -- a traditional game from China, which was a old popular game. Even though the emperor or the laymen, all of them are like this game. They use Kongzhu to train their body, make their body healthier and have fun with this wonderful game.

Chinese diabolo were traditionally made of bamboo, which was very easy to break and not convenient for complicated tricks. Modern models, however, are now made of plastic for added durability. The sticks used with the yo-yo continue to be made of wood.

The Chinese yo-yo is thousands of years old and has been adapted in the West as the diabolo. The Chinese yo-yo differs from the diabolo in two primary ways. First, the axle of the Chinese yo-yo is much longer than that of the diabolo. Also, the Chinese yo-yo has wheel-shaped discs, whereas the diabolo consists of two bell-shapes. The Chinese yoyo is also typically grooved and made of hard plastic, while diabolos are not grooved and usually made of a durable rubber material. Recently, it is reported that in Xuanwu District, Beijing, there is opened a new museum of diabolo. It is a cultural demonstration.

This diabolo museum covers an area of 200 square meters, it has 3 exhibition halls. The north hall is divided into 3 parts: history, technology and technique. It shows the development, the production and the varied skills of the diabolo. The west hall is show the introduction of the construction of the square in the theme of diabolo, the publishing, the entry in school, the participation of the Beijing Olympic. The east hall shows how to produce a diabolo, it has a demonstration of the tools, the equipments. All this make the visitors can understand the production of the diabolo.
