Day 1 Place & Transport: Arrive in Beijing, Flight not included Todays Activities: Airport to Hotel Transfer (Beijing)
Day 2 Place & Transport: Beijing Todays Activities: Mutianyu Cable Car(round trip), Great Wall, Mutianyu, Sacred Way (Ming Tombs), Roasted Duck at Hepingmen Quanjude Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch --Mutianyu Cable Car(round trip): It is a challenging climb up to the Mutianyu Great Wall for it is much steeper than Badaling section. Here you have the option of taking the Cable car to the highest point or down to the foot in a few minutes instead of climbing more than 1,400 steps, while you can also have a bird view of the wall. -- Mutianyu Great Wall: This less-crowded section of the Great Wall is a pleasant drive 90km NE of Beijing. A cable car takes you to a good section (avoiding a very steep climb), where you can walk along the wall, through the watch towers and enjoy superb views as it snakes across the hills and mountains. You can return by cable car, walk down or walk along the wall for about an hour to descend by chairlift. Wear good walking shoes and protection from the weather. --Sacred Way (Ming Tombs): An attractive tree-lined walk which leads to the Ming Tombs, this is bordered by 12 sets each of animal and human statues, and includes the attractive Great Red Gate, housing a stele on the back of a tortoise, and marble memorial archway. --Roasted Duck: In the evening enjoy the Peking Roasted Duck which is renowned as the most delicious food of Beijing
Day 3 Place & Transport: Beijing Todays Activities: The Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, The Tiananmen Square Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch --The Forbidden City: The Imperial Palace, home to 24 Emperors between 1420 and 1911. Great squares, halls and gates contrast with the intricate networks of side halls, gardens, courtyards and quarters for those who lived in this city within a city. The exhibitions, both permanent and temporary, are also absolutely fascinating. Expect to spend at least 2-3 hours, wear good walking shoes and protection from the weather. --Temple of Heaven: One of the most famous sites in Beijing, this is Ming architecture at its best: beautiful, controlled, and highly symbolic. The surrounding gardens are full of interesting activity, particularly weekend mornings. Wear good walking shoes and protection from the weather. --The Tiananmen Square: The worlds largest city square and enduring symbol of Chinas national pride, surrounded by many imposing buildings including the Heavenly Gate (entry to the Forbidden City), Museums, government buildings and Chairman Maos Mausoleum.
Day 4 Place & Transport: Beijing to Xian Todays Activities: Hotel to airport Transfer (Beijing), Airport to Hotel Transfer (Xian), Xian City Wall Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch --Xian City Wall: Built in the Ming dynasty over 700 years ago, the Xian City Wall is the most complete ancient city wall in China. The wall measures around 13.9 km in circumference, 12 meters in height, 18 meters wide at its base while 15 meters wide on the top. It is a fine example of Chinas ancient defensive fortifications that were formed over 2,000 years ago, and continued even to the last imperial era of the Qing Dynasty. The wall reflects a brilliant beauty at night when the area is lit up by colorful lights.
Day 5 Place & Transport: Xian Todays Activities: Mt. Huashan, Cable Car on Mt. Huashan(round way) Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch --Mt. Huashan: Huashan is famous for its precipice, located in Hayin city, Shaanxi province. It is one of the noted Five Mountains in China, and once called the West Mountain in ancient times. The mountain has three summits: the south peak, 2160.5m above sea level, the east Morning Sun Peak and the west Lotus Flower Peak.
Day 6 Place & Transport: Xian Todays Activities: Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses(include golf carts), Bell Tower, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Evening Show at Tang Yuegong Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch --Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses(include golf carts): This incredible 2000 year-old army of life-sized warriors, each one unique, is part of the underground tomb of the Emperor Qin. Well over 7000 figures were drawn up in full battle array in several large pits. Many of the figures, including soldiers, archers, horses and chariots, have been restored, and the repairs and excavations continue at the site where you can see both repaired and broken warriors in a truly impressive display. There is also an excellent museum, including bronze chariots unearthed nearby, and a film about the history and discovery of the tomb.From parking place to the entrance ,it will take you bout 15 minutes on foot,so China Highlights serve you the golf cart.This Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses is about 35 km from Xian --Bell Tower: This is the largest and best-preserved of its kind in China, is 36 meters (118 feet) high. It stands on a brick base 35.5 meters (116.4 feet) long and 8.6 meters (28.2 feet) high on each side.Stand on top of the tower, you can have a birds view of the city. There are ancient musical instrument exhibit at the entrance of the tower, and free ancient music performance every other half hour. --Big Wild Goose Pagoda: The pagoda (7 floors,64.5meters high) where widely renowned Master Xuanzang (Monk Tripitaka) stored his classics brought from India. It is the landmark of the ancient capital city - Xian. --Evening Show: The show that presents the palace dances and sings in the Tang Dynasty when Xian was the capital of ancient China.
Day 7 Place & Transport: Xian to Chengdu to Mt.Emei Todays Activities: Hotel to airport Transfer (Xian), Airport Transfer (Chengdu), Baoguo monastery, Emei Mountain Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch --Baoguo monastery: This monastery was built in the 16th century, enlarged in the 17th century, and rebuilt in recent years. Its 3.5-meter porcelain Buddha, made in 1415, is housed near the Sutra Library. To the left of the gate is a rockery for potted miniature trees and rare plants. --Emei Mountain: One of the most famous mountains for Buddhism in China. It has many temples and beautiful scenery.Baoguo Temple lies right at the foot of Mt. Emei.
Day 8 Place & Transport: Mt.Emei to Leshan to Chengdu Todays Activities: Cruise to have a overlook at Leshan Giant Buddha, Leshan Giant Buddha Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch --Cruise to have a overlook at Leshan Giant Buddha: The Great Buddha in Leshan is located to the east of Leshan City, Sichuan Province and on the Lingyun Mountain where Min River, Qingyi River and Dadu River meet. It has been the largest stone carved sitting Buddhist statue in the world so far.You can sit on board to have a overlook at Leshan Giant Buddha. --Leshan Giant Buddha: The Great Buddha in Leshan is located to the east of Leshan City, Sichuan Province and on the Lingyun Mountain where Min River, Qingyi River and Dadu River meet. Day 9 Place & Transport: Chengdu to Hangzhou Todays Activities: Lingyin Temple/ Monastery of the Hidden Souls Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch --Lingyin Temple/ Monastery of the Hidden Souls: Lingyin Temple is one of the ten most famous ancient Buddhist temples in China. It also houses various Buddhist literature and treasures situated in front of Lingyin Temple, is famous for its more than 470 stone carvings of Buddhist figures, which dated from the 10th to 14th centuries.
Day 10 Place & Transport: Hangzhou to Yellow Mountain, Express Bus Todays Activities: Express bus station transfer (Hangzhou), Express bus station to Hotel Transfer (Yellow Mountain), Cruise on the West Lake Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch --Cruise on the West Lake: Lying on the west edge of Hangzhou city, West Lake is the symbol of Hangzhou as well as one of the most beautiful sights in China.
Day 11 Place & Transport: Yellow Mountain Todays Activities: Huangshan Scenic area Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch --Huangshan Scenic area: Located in the south of Anhui Province, with an area of about 1,200 square kilometers, known as "the loveliest mountain in China", famous for its magnificent scenery made up of many granite peaks and rocks emerging out of clouds.
Day 12 Place & Transport: Yellow Mountain to Shanghai Todays Activities: Hotel to airport Transfer (Yellow Mountain), Airport to Hotel Transfer (Shanghai), Hongcun Village, Cableway down Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch --Hongcun Village: Its located in the place which is about 10 kilometers off the northeast part of Yixian County. An ancient town over 800 years old leaning against Mt. Huangshan, it is folded in the fog of the Mt. which makes it look like a river and mountain picture. It enjoys the reputation of "The Chinese town in the pictures". Especially, the whole town distributes like a "cow", which made it one of the wonders in the world culture heritage. The famous film "Crouching Tiger" was made here. --Cableway down: You can enjoy the scenery along the way down to the yellow mountain by cable car.
Day 13 Place & Transport: Shanghai Todays Activities: Shanghai Museum, Yuyuan Garden, Oriental Pearl TV Tower Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch --Shanghai Museum: The biggest museum in China, with a collection of over 120,000 pieces of Chinese art & cultural relics. The museum is especially famous for its treasures of bronzes, ceramics, paintings, and calligraphy. --Yuyuan Garden: A traditional Chinese park decorated by beautiful pavilions, miniature lakes, bridges and rock formations. Yuyuan Garden is not only a famous classical garden in South China, but also a major historic and cultural site under state protection. --Oriental Pearl TV Tower: Standing by the Huangpu River with 468 meters high, Oriental Pearl TV Tower is the highest TV Tower in Asia (up to the last floor to see Shanghai scenery).It is a new landmark of Shanghai in 21st century.
