Day 1: Beijing Arrival - Tiananmen Square - Temple of Heaven Arrive in Beijing, be met and transferred to hotel. After lunch, visit Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world. Day 2 : Beijing Great Wall - Ming Tomb CScared Road - Beijing Duck Have breakfast at the hotel, visit the Mutianyu Great Wall, located in Huairou County about 45 miles from Beijing, Mutianyu Great Wall enjoys a long history and is part of the glorious culture of China. After lunch, visit the Ming Tomb, 50 kilometers northwest from Beijing City lies the Ming Tombs - the general name given to the mausoleums of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). Then, visit the Scared Road. Return to Beijing, taste the Beijing Duck and overnight at the hotel. B+L+D
Day 3 : Beijing Forbidden City- Jingshan Park- Summer PalaceC Beijing Opera Have breakfast at the hotel, Visit the Forbidden City, called Gu Gong in Chinese, was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Now known as the Palace Museum, it is to the north of Tiananmen Square. Rectangular in shape, it is the world's largest palace complex and covers 74 hectares. Visit the Jingshan Park, which was originally named Wansui Hill (Long Live Hill), Zhen Hill or Meishan Hill (Coal Hill). The mid summit of Jingshan is the highest point in Beijing. Day 4 : Beijing/Qufu Yonghe Lamasery Temple CTemple of ConfuciusCOlympic Village- Antique Market- Night train to Qufu Have breakfast at the hotel, visit the Yonghe Lamasery Temple, which is the largest and most perfectly preserved lamasery in present day China.Built initially in 1694 during the Qing Dynasty, this building was the residence of Emperor Yongzheng when he was just a prince. Visit the Temple of Confucius, located on Guozijian Street inside Anding Gate, the Temple of Confucius in Beijing is the place where people paid homage to Confucius during the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368), Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). After lunch, promenade at the Olympic village. Return to central city, free tiem at the Antique Market. After dinner, transfer to railway station and take night train to Qufu. Overnight on the train. Day 5 : Qufu Temple of Confucius- Kong Family Mansion- Cemetery of Confucius Arrive at Qufu in the morning, be met and transferred to hotel. Day 6 : Qufu-Taishan Dai Temple - Mountain Taishan - Jade Emperor Summit Have breakfast at the hotel, visit the Dai Temple, it is the most famous that can not be missed, which is the largest and best preserved architecture complex on Mt. Day 7 : Taishan-Shanghai Promenade at the Taishan - Train to Shanghai Enjoy the sunrise at the mountain and Promenade at the Taishan. If it is possible, you can get down the mountain on foot. Day 8 : Shanghai Arrive at Shanghai- Jade Buddha Temple -Nanjing Road- The Bund- Acrobatic Show Arrive in Shanghai in the morning, be met and transferred to hotel. After breakfast, visit Jade Buddha Temple, it is one of the most famous Buddhist temples to be found in Shanghai. The White Jade Buddha was brought here from Burma in the nineteenth century. Have lunch, promenade at the Bund, also called the Zhongshan Road, is a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years. Then, visit the Nanjing Road, which is considered to be the "No. 1 commercial street in China". Here along its 5.5 kilometers (3.4 miles), you will find over 600 shops that on average are visited by some 1.7 million people each day.
