There are a large variety of souvenirs in Korla, among the most famous include fruits, herbal medicine and jade products.

Fragrant Pears
Korla is well known for its fragrant pears and has a history of 2,000 of pear cultivation. Korla fragrant pears are reputed as ¡°Honey Pears in China¡±. They have a honey aroma, thin skin, tender flesh and beautiful colors.

Raisins
Xinjiang is well-known as the ¡°hometown of fruits and melons¡± and boasts various kinds of fruits, among which raisins enjoy the greatest reputation. Raisins in Xinjiang have a history of more than 2,000 years and are famous as ¡°the green pearl¡± in the west of China. The raisins are rich in natural fructose, protein, vitamin, cellulose and various microelements.

Walnuts
Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region is one of China¡¯s earliest areas to plant walnuts. The oases around the Tarim Basin are the main producing areas of walnuts. Xinjiang¡¯s big-sized and thin-skinned walnuts are called Yanggak by the local people and have been exported to many countries and areas all around the world.
