The 88-year-old Beijing Dongfang Hotel is formed by structures from three different periods: 1918, 1983, and 1985. After the current renovation, all the guest rooms in the main building are installed with flaring balcony that provide comfortable space and excellent lighting effects. The brand new furniture and fittings make cozy living conditions for the guests.

The restoration of its historic 1918 building accentuates the Orient Hotels nostalgic atmosphere. Incorporating a European style courtyard garden and a tower dating from the early 20th century, the hotel blends classic Chinese and Western design. The hotels Old House 1918 Coffee Shop and the enclosed adjacent garden blend together seamlessly.

The hotel has 288 standard rooms and suites, which are all designed and constructed according to 4-star criteria.

The hotel restaurant is located on the second floor of the main building. Its 400 square meter area can serve 250 people at one time.
