Nuo Drama , was at one time very popular in every part of China, but with social development faded out in most parts, remaining popular only in southwest China, such as Guizhou, in eastern Yunnan, southern Sichuan and Chongqing, in southwest Hubei and western Hunan and in northern Guangxi. Nuo Dramas vary considerably in different areas.
Nuo has a long history; historical records disagree on when the practice first appeared. Some hold that Nuo started by the order of Zhuan Xiang, the grandson of Huang Di , while others said that it began during the Zhou Dynasty. Despite the 1000 years' difference, the purpose of Nuo was to drive away devils, disease and evil influences, and to petition for blessings from the gods. At this time, Nuo was a sacrificial activity.

Impression Liusanjie , is a performance that you have never seen or experienced before. An area of 2 kms along Li River and 12 peaks as stage setting, tighter with boundless sky, compose the Shanshui Theatre with mountains and rivers the largest natural theatre in the world. Acrobatics Show,
is an interactive art form. Everyone, young or old, educated or not, can easily appreciate it while watching or seeing the acrobats perform. There is no language barrier and borders of culture do not limit it. Chinese Acrobatics is one of the oldest performing arts. Its history can be traced back to Neolithic times. It is believed that acrobatics grew out of labor and self-defense skills, which people practiced and demonstrated during their leisure time. The early performance is "walking on three-meter-high stilts while juggling seven gaggers". Then it developed into an entire art form.

7 Naxi Ancient Music , the traditional Naxi classical music that is regarded as a 'living fossil of Chinese music. It has developed its own unique style and traits - the result of 500 hundred years of evolution. It originally included three parts -'Baisha Fine Music' (Baisha Xiyue), 'Dongjing Music' (Dongjing Yinyue), and 'Huangjing Music' (Huangjing Yinyue), the last of which has long been lost in the river of time. Through the artistic director's reorganization and recreation of the essence of traditional songs and dance with the most classic style of folk dance, the richness of the culture of Yunnan minorities is born again on stage with startling effects.
An extraordinary sense of "Impression of Yunnan" (Yunnan Yingxiang) is brought to the audience through the exhibition of the clashed effect between the classic and original ethnic songs and dance and modern dance choreography. This is the first production produced, directed and choreographed by the famous dancer, Yang Liping .

The first performance of the show will be a Tang Dynasty instrumental ensemble entitled ' The King of Ever '. During the performance you will see various Chinese musical instruments which are no longer in use. The piece celebrates the appreciation of the people towards their ruler who has brought peace, wealth and tranquility to the kingdom. At Royal Banquets, the court musical masters played this grand number to praise the Emperor, and to wish him a long and happy life.
